Invulnerability:
     At  the  controller help screen, hold L1 then press X, Circle, X,
Left, Left, Square, R1, Down, Square, Square.

Replace pearls with coins:
     While at a level with pearls, press SELECT then hold L1 and press
Circle, X, Circle, Circle, Circle, X, Circle, Circle.
